Default Tail Lights Not Working

All tail lights work except the Tail light when I turn on the headlights. Even the Hazard Warning operates the bulb for the tail light. Is there a fuse issue?

you're not real clear on your issue here.... correct me if I'm misunderstanding what you're asking...

You're saying that your turn signal lights work, as do your brake lights, but when you turn on your headlights you get nothing to work at all.....?????

If this is the case it does indeed sound like some sort of fuse issue. I'm not an expert on the PTs (they'll come along shortly), though I have done some tinkering on various vehicles throughout the years. When something electrical doesn't work, the first thing I check is the fuses.

good luck

I tend to ramble and repeat myself, please try to over look my ignorance.

I believe she means the tail lights work and the turn signals work but the brake lights do not.

First thing, replace the bulbs. Those bulbs are dual filament (one for dim and one for bright) and the bright filament may just be burned out. If that doesn't fix things start checking fuses.

Sue, It also helps to tell us what year your car is. There's major differences between the 01-05 and the 06+ cruisers especially the electrical side. Follow the advice given above and let us know what you find.

The 01-05 has two fuse boxes so check both if you fall into that category.

the red arrow is pointing to the turn signal/hazard. The green arrow is pointing to the brake light, which one is it?
