Default R.I.P. Good bye my friend, and Welcome to the Family.

So finally I had to pull the plug on my 2001 Limited Edition, She was huffing and puffing smoke. 204222 were the last miles as I parked her in the Dealerships parking lot. This has been the car that I have had that I have enjoyed the most and she will be missed.

So to ease my pain I picked up this lil cutie, a 2008 Touring Edition, with 21,000 miles.

I did not realize that the Touring had a bigger tank till I filled her up. $49.00, never put more than $35.00 in the 2001, then I saw it had a 15gal tank! wow!

You guys are making me a believer in the power of the PT Cruiser. Sorry about your old ride but the new one looks awesome. Im considering not getting a turbo ride and just a N/A Touring or Limited 06 and up.

Are you saying that the new 08 car has a bigger fuel tank?
According to the information that I have from Chrysler's 2001 roll out package, the 2001 (and my 2004) have 15 gallon tanks.

In the Owners Manual of my 2001, fluid capacities reads 15.0 gal / 56.7 liters. Congrats on your new ride.
