Thumbs up fixed dash gauges and lights

going to a meeting today and all my gages stopped working and my dash lights and turn signals would not work,
went back home and pulled every fuse and cleaned them with a small brass brush put everything back together and it all works??????????strange
has this happened to any one else and what was your remedy ??

That's a PT for ya. You reset everything probably by pulling all the fuses so you chased away your gremlins, then burnishing the fuse connections helps make a better electrical connection so any other gremlins are kept out. Hey, you're gremlin free!

this is about the 5th time in over 4 years this has happened and i do the same thing,and also if your headlights start to flicker,i do the same thing with the fuses and it goes away.
