Default air box for filter

The air box has a filter and a sponge to the left side of the air box. Can anyone tell me if you get it at the dealer. Auto zone said they don't have it. (2) I see you guys talk about a can in the air box. Is that the way to go? Where do you get one. I seen one on the forum that said husky on the side. (3) when you get it you have to change it /clean it and how often? Will it over fill? Some one Please tell me more xtreme

After looking at the airfilter to see if I need one. the engine light went on. I drove it over 900 mile trip and had no problem. I think I didn't get something back together right.

NO RED OIL LEAKS and it was just a clamp

The sponge? Any sponge will do. Cut a piece of a kitchen one and throw it out when oily.
You are asking about a "catch can". I have a campbell Hausfeld one from Jacks Small Engine Parts Help Page
cost about $15, it's from an air compressor - empty about 2,00 + miles, has a clear bowl wher you can see the oil.
The line on the PCV valve gets more oil, and I have one there, too.

XtrmDC2 I was looking at that lastnight. What did it cost you? Like it! My massey 35 tractor has one on it for gas so you know when there is water in the gas.

probably air/water sep, you don't normally need air/oil sep. The darned tank builds up condensation internally the longer you run the compressor. Every time I use my 10 gallon setup, when done I empty the drain cock at the bottom and a half cup of water comes out...
