Default Rear wiper T Handle?

Ok so I have seen some of the guys swap out the rear wiper with either a plug or t-handle. I will be getting my vinyl moon for my rear window and do not want my wiper to ruin it so looking to yank the wiper, what else can i use in its place?

You can always pull the wiper motor altogether. This leave a round hole that you can just pick up a rubber stopper of some kind that will fit into the hole and not detract from the picture, unless of course your looking for something unique to fill the hole.

Hey Ron, have you ever used one of these window vinyl's before? The reason why i ask is b'cuz i had one of these types of window vinyls and will never get another one ever again. the reason i feel that way is cuz, even tho they look good, it will fade in the sun and when it rains, water gets trapped in the lil holes which decreases you visibility BAD. I loved the design of a flaming moltese cross but i hated it when it rained or after i washed her.

Yeah I have seen a few that looked horrible and some that after a few years still looked good. The rain issue, well it rains ALOT here, but I do keep the rear window waxed or rainx. may have to check the rainx on the vinyl and see if it will wreack havoc.

That's kool man, just giving you an update. I was totally gonna get one too till i saw what kind it was. I don't want to have to go through that again. I remember i got fed up with the water staying inside the holes so i ended up trimming around the design and taking off the black portions of the vinyl. so that only left the flaming cross on there

You would think they would make it so you could put it inside.

yeah that's true, but then again you gotta think about how some cars come with the window's tinted already, and the rear window defroster

I know that most vinyl will last between 2 to 5 years in the sun. heck it may not even last that long depending on how my visability is thru the back window.
