Default Oil Pressure sending unit

I have a 2002 PT cruiser that, when I come to a stop and the engine idles the oil light comes on. With a slight rev it goes out, it just started this. Word has it that if I replace the oil sending unit that this may go away. On the unit I purchased it requires a torque for the unit. Does anyone know what that would be?

Neither Chilton nor Haynes says anything about the torque specs on the oil sending unit. If you've replaced things before on the engine, use common sense and tighten it down without overdoing it.

Much easier to replace from a lift.

A set of ramps would work if you have a standard height vehicle.
