Default code po522

having trouble with wifes car,died on her coming home from work two weeks ago,wont restart,had towed home,checked for codes,getting p0522,replaced oil pressure switch,checked wiring to switch its ok,still getting only this code,and with battery fully charged can only get a few cranks then battery dies,have never had any trouble with it before this time,need help!!! Car is 2003 2.4 non turbo with 180000 on odometer,it usually runs like a dream and is really quick.

Well the code isn't helping since it's for the oil pressure sensor and you already replaced it. It still sounds to me that you have a battery problem even though yo said it's fully charged. It shouldn't just crank a few times and die. I don't think your 12V is getting to where it needs to get meaning your wires might be corroded or bad and the starter isn't getting the voltage it needs to turn over the engine.

Since this happened two weeks ago, I assume you have another vehicle. I would take the positive battery cable loose from the PTC (in case the PTC battery has an internal short) and then jump it from another vehicle. I would be willing to bet you have a bad battery. Good luck!
