Default Some good news...

the repair i did on the MFS works like a dream. its strange that such a little thing as having your fog lights working again can be such a novelty. even nicer because i repaired it myself using the "how-to" section on here. doing the copper mod on the slider arm was easier than i thought, used the lid off a baked bean tin to provide the metal for the mod.

Thanks to the creators of the posts for the info. you have saved me over 80 on a new stalk that could just have gone bad in the future!

i love this forum!

It's funny how simple car repairs can actually be.

In the Tech & Performance section, there's a thread entitled "HOW TO" and in that thread there's a couple dozen threads on How To do Things. Here's the one your looking for.

How to Repair the Multifunction Switch w/ Pictures (Fog Lights)

I would just go to the junkyard and pilfer a few, they use the same ones in just about every car.
