Default Front wheel arch liner

I've purchased a new plastic wheel arch liner, after some low life vandalised my car. There are several small bolts around the outer edge - no problem here. However, where the liner attatches to the inner wing there appears to be three studs (?) with no obvious way of levering them off. reaching behind one I can feel something like a screw thread, but it might just be serations. I don't want to force these if they're not supposed to be. Has anyone replaced one of these liners and, if so, any tips?

They are push in (essentially single use) fasteners. The blind end is a "serrated" and catches the edges of the hole.
Most auto parts stores will have new replacements,

Easiest way to remove them is with a special tool to pry them out. Try using an old fork with a middle tang (or two) removed. You can also cut them off with side cutters or a knife behind the large disk.

I'm a little put off with this, the panel tool at Advance Auto I bought year before last at $5 less than what they show now ($17.99). I will tell you though, this tool has been one of the handiest tools I've had with my PT. I use it all over the place. Really works well.

Thanks Chromenut. I always wondered how best to remove these parts.

Andromeda I found these on this website in the UK 12.98 plus VAT.
