Sorry guys, I know someone has put a tutorial this forum on how best to repaint the flaky centre dash panel, but search as I might I cannot find it. Can someone post the link please?
I have purchased a panel from a local breaker and will work on this, once (if) done I will replace the one in my car. Thanks |

It really depends on how much time an money you want to spend on it. I went to O'Reillys auto parts and had 1-shot (has clear coat in the paint allready) mixed in a spray can for around $15. You can get dealer matched paint for a little more BUT it is about 1/4 less an you still have to buy a can of clear coat.
![]() I molded in the radio kit above in the wifes 06' but just to color match only, all you need to do is clean it throughly with degreaser and use a Scotch-Brite pad to scuff up, spray a couple of coats of plastic primer and lightly sand, clean again then spray 2-3 light coats of the paint. If you want a really slick finish afterwards, you can water sand after it has setup and dried. Your other options is to get a body shop to do it but i know its gonna cost a whole lot more than the way i did.
