Default Is there something STUCK on my evaporator intake? (Anyone ever take the AC apart?)

Working my continuing AC issue. Here is what we've done so far:

1. Determined the Condensor is working fine, and verified the temperature. We have confirmed it's a BLOWING air issue - the car doesn't blow enough air out of the vents. When compared to a AC from another Cruiser, it's at least 60% diminished.

2. The fan and all parts are working fine. We pulled and replaced the Fan (Squirell Cage was clean) and the actuator and neither was the issue.

3. This led the mechanic to believe it's something CLOGGING the evaporator. We used a foaming evaporator from underneath and above the evaporator. It foams into the evaporator itself, then runs out of drain. No change.

4. We've verified that the voltage is correct.

We're at the point where we're going to have to take the dash off, but I don't want to pay for the labor, so we tried today to take the fan off and stick a camera into the chamber that leads from the fan to the evaporator.

This is what we found. The mechanic believes this area should be TOTALLY clear and some sort of foam or foam like material is clogging the area:

Any advice?

I have zero idea what we're looking at there.
You can take the plenum cover off, and clean it out
remove blower and reach up inside
Seems this vehicle has lots of reports of clogging for some reason
