Default Fried PCM/ECU? SKIM? Need some leads

Hi! I'm having an issue with my 2001 NA AT PT Cruiser with 131K miles. And I need your help.

The facts:

Some days ago it started to stall when stepped the gas pedal (mainly after the red light start).

But 3 days ago, started to die after those stalls. After those deaths, the car cranked and started, but when I shifted to D or R, the car died again. But at this point, didn't crank at all. I Waited for 2 or 3 minutes and started again, shift to D, died again. I repeated several times this process until the car finally moved, and I could bring it to my home.

Now it's at my garage and it doesn't crank at all. The dashboard keeps the AirBag light on and the red dot in the left gauge. Also, after a while, turns on the check engine light, two beeps, and shows a "No Bus" message.

I did the key dance, and showed me the codes P1484 and P1494.
I checked under the hood and I realized that the vacuum hose of the EGR was broken (actually melted). I replaced it with no changes.

Does anybody had this symptoms?
Any suggestions? I was thinking that maybe is the ECU or the SKIM module, but i don't know how to check them.

Thanks for your help! and excuse my english!

My thoghts are saying that its something with the security. Try unlocking the hatch with the key I believe that was a way to fix the security mishaps. I say its security cuz thats what that lil red dot means. Idk.

BUU bad news! I was ready for cruising today and... the problem appeared again. I tried to open the car with the key, but this time didn't work!

I don't know what is happening with the car. I'm starting to think that the solution could be a matchbox and a can of gas.

Id say try replacing the key first. That's way cheaper then a new computer. For some reason your car is having trouble recognizing your key. That's what id probably do

If you want a precise, no-nonsense answer and QUICKLY, go to your dealer or your favorite KNOWLEDGABLE mechanic and have them run a diagnostic on it. We are only guessing here and can't reach through our computers to hook our instruments up to it. Some things that happen often and can be logically "guessed at" we can help you with. Some we can't. Like I said, if you want a quick PRECISE definite answer, have a diagnostic ran.

To jerry. First off. Don't call my advice nonsense. Believe it was a post I saw from crewzin about the key in the hatch trick. Second. I'm just trying to help the guy. Iv read other posts from you. Picking on the newbies and stuff. Watch it. If you don't have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all.
To jdpersico. Good luck on fixing your car

Don't think Jerry was busting on you. You can really tell when he dose. But you'll have to get the no nonsense answer from him to know for sure.
