Default It's POSSESSED door locks often activate

Wife's 2001 Cruiser locks it's doors often, very often. They don't unlock they just relock at random intervals and during random times. This doesn't seem to be dangerous just annoying when the latches click 20 or 30 tomes in a 20 mile trip.

When this happened to me a few years ago with my first Cruiser I had the battery replaced and it went away. It could be a signal that your battery is on its last legs.

Locks work automatically as they are supposed to then they re-activate at random times (doors remain locked) we just hear the locks activate (lock cycle only) when the 'Spirit moves them'. Just reset the computer by disconnecting the battery for 12+ hours. I'll post again if this EXORCISES the evil spirit.
Thanks for the come backs.

Mine used to do this. But it was only the back left door. It started one really rainy day and my fob got soaked. I took it off my key ring and left it at home for a few days. Dried out and was back to normal

Our PT did this a few years back. It was after a heavy rain. It stopped a few days later (after a dry spell) and has not returned.

By the way, the next time you're flying and you notice a hairy creature, pulling up the metal rivets on the wing ... pay no attention. It's just your imagination.

Had this problem too and finally solved it by getting it recoded. It was so bad that it did it even while driving, very creepy, not to mention annoying...

I am sure I posted a thread on this very issue. I have no issues now, but believe it was down to me alternating between my two keys. Once I stopped doing this and just used the 1 key, it stopped. Also, battery in the other key fob seems dodgy anyway and needs replacing. It is now kept firmly away from the car.
