Question MFS and fog light fuse

Hi I have a 2002 Limited Edition PT Cruiser. I am about to be on my 3rd multifunction switch, however until I can get it fixed, I would like to pull the fuse for my fog lights, which keep coming on and will drain the battery. I have never used my fog lights--I didn't even know how to turn them on until a couple months ago!

I have read on here that fuse #8 is the fog light fuse. Can someone confirm this for me for my car's year/model?

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You are correct. Fuse 8 which is in the fuse box inside the car.

In the how too section, there is a repair for the switch that is supposed to be a more permanent fix.
