Joe,

99% of the people on this forum are from the U.S.A. We are totally familiar with the gasoline 2.4ltr engine but they don't make the diesel on this side of the pond. Your problems could be way different than what we see here. I'll give you what the codes mean but might not anything to do with you engine.

P1130 HO2S Circuit Low Variance Bank 1 Sensor 1 (upstream 02 sensor)

P0100 MAF Sensor Ckt. Insufficient Activity

P0070 Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit Stuck Conditions

P1685, invalid skim key

P1511 Throttle Control System - Backup System Performance

What I suggest, if it's anything like our, is to take off the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes. Step on the brake peddle to get rid of any residual charge. Put the cable back on and go for a ride. See what codes come up after that.

What Cruiserdad has suggested is that I would suggest for you to visit the United Kingdom site as they are very familiar with the Diesel engine.

Again, you have the diesel that 99% of us don't have. The sensors and things that showed up on your list are different than ours. If you in the UK there's an auto store named Halford's that hopefully they will have a Haynes or Chilton manual dedicated to the diesel engine and you can see all the information, pictures and schematics that you need.

I just googled these. there are many reasons you have all these codes, I would start by replacing the O2 Sensors, if diesels have them.

P1130-- The Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) is monitored for switching. (The test fails when the HO2S does not switch due to circuit or fuel at or exceeding a calibrated limit)

P0100 -- MAF Sensor Ckt. Insufficient Activity. (Check the connector for corrosion)(Also could be throwing the code due to another trouble code)

P0070 -- Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit Stuck Conditions (Check the connector for corrosion)(Also could be throwing the code due to another trouble code)

P1685 --invalid skim key (Does your car have a remote starter?)

P1511 Throttle Control System - Backup System Performance (its a throttle body code. usually requires replacing the throttle body. weak springs is usually the cause)
