Default Recirculate function no worky

Anybody have a schematic on whatever actuates the HVAC air intake door?

It appears to be vacuum operated if what I'm looking at behind the glovebox is the correct thing.

Behind the dials in the center console. make sure the vacuum lines and cables all work.

Excellent, so it IS vacuum operated. Thanks!

iirc, the vacuum line for the recirc valve comes directly off of the brake booster vacuum check valve.

edit:i checked my FSM and this is correct for the '03 model.
The valve has 3 ports on it.
1 for the intake manifold
1 for the heater/ac door
1 for the cruise control if installed

OurPT is correct. The vacuum for the recirc door comes off the brake booster.

Check your vacuum line first. If the actuator itself is bad, it's attached to the heater/ac box inside the dash board. The FSM calls to remove the dash board to access the actuator.

Does your "recirculate mode" not work in all modes or just in one or two. Just checking to make sure that you knew that if you choose the "MIX" or "DEFROST" modes that the system automatically changes from Recirculation mode to Outside Air mode air for you and the knob will change by itself.

I keep it on the "face" setting. Turning the knob has no effect.

Looks like I gotta pull the control panel. The line in the engine compartment is okay and the one at the actuator is intact. I just cannot feel a vacuum pulse when the switch is turned to recirculate.
