I was on my way home from work and a lady turned in front of me to try and beat traffic. She wasn't so lucky.... I ended up clipping the back corner of her car.
Blue actually held up pretty good, but her car was another story. It was a newer Ford Focus that had to be towed away, and I set off her side airbags. No one was hurt, which is the most important thing! ![]()

Chris, sorry to hear that. Glad your OK. Hopefully she admitted her fault and she had her paperwork including up to date insurance. A new bumper, headlight and probably right fender. Hood can be fixed. Did the grill come with the chrome strips or did you add them?

No I didn't get pictures of the other car. I'd say I made out fairly well since I drove the car home and the other car got towed.
It's $3600 in damages. New bumper, absorber, impact bar, fender, grille, and headlight. And yes, the chrome strips are factory on the grille.

That seems way too expensive for just a factory setup car. ![]() |

There's quite a bit of internal damage that they'll have to repair, on top of the replaceable parts.

The impact bar sets directly behind the foam. And the bumper cover sits on top of all of it. From what you mentioned, I would not call that internal damage. Glad you are okay! Last edited by Busa_Powered; 17 Aug 2012 at 04:50 pm. |
