Default Will the PT become a classic?

We are all probably a bit biased, but does anyone else think as I do, that with its retro and unique looks along with the limited runs of some models (like the Dream series) that in another 20-30 years, these cruisers will be highly sought after in a similar way that old muscle cars are revered?

Any thing that old will certainly will be classic! The look will help. Even a pacer is a classic and it's still ugly. IMHO.

As Busted says, anything can become a classic. There were a million and a half PT's made so as you said, the Dream Series and any PT that was put away in storage the minute someone bought it might be worth a little more and only time will tell if it ever becomes a "real" classic.

That is a fair point... but think about it. The year is 2030 and we are looking back at cars from the past in the same way we would look back at a car from the 70s.

That pacer or a gremlin is not thought of the same way a Chevelle SS or a Dodge Charger is.

I know it is all speculative, but the Cruiser is so unique that I often think it will be more fondly remembered.

Cars that were popular when they were new are popular when they are old. One definition of classic is "something that has stood the test of time".

Classics aren't necessarily more valuable.

'53 Studebakers are classics, in my opinion, but they weren't as popular as '57 Chevys, so usually don't bring as much on the auction block.

Hi all
Hear in the UK Chrysler don't seem to sell in big number.
And the early one are now in the breakers yards.
Now this is good if you need spairs but reduces the amount on the road.
Hear a car is a automaticly a classic after twenty five years.
But we no longer get free road tax after 01/01/1973.
I go to a local monthly event with some kit, costom, classic, vintage from all over the world.
And it has two or three P T turn up regular.
Quite a nice way to while an evening away.
