Default PT Panel Van didn't sell????

Its practically a show car, I can't believe that no one bid on this custom PT panel conversion.
Other Makes : PT Cruiser Limited in Other Makes | eBay Motors
Notice, there were no changes made to the interior.

Here is another show car, a panel conversion with trophy plaque.
Chrysler : PT Cruiser Base 2 Door Sedan Delivery in Chrysler | eBay Motors

It's just one of those things where something is so 'custom' that it will only appeal to a small list of people. Out of that small list, narrow it down to who actually has the money to buy it and if they're within reasonable distance of buying it....not to mention if that individual is even in the market for such a vehicle.

Not everybody thinks to go to ebay for a car either.

Hot rodders are a strange lot. They’ll spend thousands of dollars on performance parts to improve acceleration, handling or braking, but most won’t spend one dime on testing to discover if all those parts really made a difference!
Remember this: All modifications build on each other SO the better you configure your mods to work with each other, the more powerful your car will be.

Hey, the first one is from Leominster, MA. I used to live there. That PT should stay there...and maybe visit the junkyard in whence it was seemingly born from.

Second one would probably create more curb appeal without the HD logo on the side. Seems like the hood should be orange, too. Plus, it could use a drop. Actually ALL PTs look better with a drop.

Well, to be honest. With the firts one I think: "OMG, what has he done to that car !" If you customize a car according to your own taste, in such a manner that you really think it's perfect, then why sell it for such a high price ?
Does this seller imagine there's someone waiting for this car ?

It's a 2002 and the price is simply much too high, regardless of the changes he made. And if you look at the milage there's a high chance that the major service stuff on the engine is still coming up too...

I like the second one a lot better and he has a reasonable starting price.

But the thing is: people overall don 't give a damn about custom cars. 9 out of 10 They wan't a car that drives them from A to B as cheap as possible.
