Question Power Mirror Issue

I have a 2001 Silver PT Cruiser Limited, and the side mirrors only go outward, on both sides, i have to manually control them to move them up, down, and to turn them back inward. Could this be the motors (doubtful because it happens on both sides) or is it more likely the switch??
Thanks in advance for the help

I can post a short video tomorrow, but its too dark out right now to take one

Switch, take it apart and clean the contacts with an pencil eraser.

Inside the mirror, or the interior switch?
Thanks

The switch.

Be cautious when separating the back portion of the switch from the front black plastic.
There are two holes in the sides of the back piece. Each hole has a small spring and a ball in the bore. The spring presses the ball against the push button (R or L) and controls the 'lock' or 'indent' feature of the push button.
Spring will easily fly out, ball is easy to lose; can be annoying when reassembling.
When reassembling, remember that ball goes in before spring (don't ask).

Once switch is apart, all will be easy to understand and contacts easily cleaned up.
