I need to replace the rear springs when i hit a decent size bump the rear end hits the bumper stop and its loud as HELL! I can pickup the rear coils for $60 from autozone but what else do i need tool wise? Also is there ANY video or decent step by step with pictures on how to replace these? I have googled the crap out of it and seen a few posts here about how easy it is. Im just a visual person and like to see it before i do it, you know what i mean vern! I know i will need some kind of clamps to compress the shock to get it in but anything else help wise is appreciated. Thanks a lot these forums have helped me numerous times.

Remove lower shock bolts then jack up one side at a time, you can then pop out the coils. When you install the new ones, make sure to line up the coil in the rubber seat. You can see how its molded to fit the coil after you pull it out.
Rears do not require compressing like the front coils do. They have almost no tension in them and can be popped out easily after you unhook the shocks.

If all your worried about is hitting the rear bump stops, most of us with lowering springs just cut off that last bump on the stopper. That stops anything from hitting.
