Exclamation Leak A Lot

What causes the leaky the windshield washer nozzles?

It seems to dribble when the motor gets hot?

What needs replacement?

I am not looking to converting the spray to come off the wiper arms, I saw that in the search, and it looks like too difficult. I would rather fix the damaged part(s)

The wiper reservoir fluid is being warmed by the engine which raises the fluid pressure. This causes it to push its way out the wiper nozzles. Running a higher alcohol content wiper fluid or good quality name brand fluid should cure that problem? I personally like to use some form of streak free window cleaner and mix my own of about 60/40 for normal bug impact area's and a higher mix in buggy driving area's of 80/20. I know "what" lol. Lots of growing belts in California and sometimes the front of the car looks like a bug collection and who's who of different bug varieties!
The only downfall to running a stronger % mix is the over-spray will blow over the rest of the car and need to be rinsed at some point or it looks like you just came from a wind tunnel test. lol

Thanks, I will try that.

I dont think I have used the sprayers since I bought the car almost 1.5 years ago. I never drive it when it rains so there is really no need. More of a nice weather, weekend car. Guess I could just drain it LOL

You might take an old toothbrush and brush the nozzles spray hole as long as you are doing the maintenance on it.

Only a few of us clean "freaks" think of the dark area's on a car that might need cleaning.
Oh wait you have a Black PT you must be one like me?

i think the bottle should not be pressurized. maybe there's a plugged vent somewhere? or his cap is sealing too good? aftermarket cap by chance?

last time i filled mine i actually just used a full bottle of rainx and filled the rest with water. mine don't leak. i've never even heard of those leaking. weird.

if my car had leaky nipples i'd think it was pregnant. maybe try a rusty coat hanger?
