Default quick question

We had a 03 limited that we had since new. Just got done doing timing belt, water pump, belts, mounts, map sensor and NVLD on Wednesday. Wife was rear ended on Friday and totaled the car. Found out the pt is tuff! She was hit by a 89 Chevy 1500. Totaled it out to :-). Wife is ok!

Question is, in general, how long are the pt' s good for? We know it depends on how they were driving and maintained. But she is wanting another one and we have found some we liked but short of worried because some have upwards to 130k on them. Any pointers on things to keep an eye out for besides the timing belt change? Many thanks

If your talking mileage, here's a thread asking members what they have on their odometer.....

HOW MANY MILES ON YOUR PT????

If your talking years, you almost can't have more than I do. Came off the assembly line in September 2000. Runs perfect.

Thanks crewzin, I was thinking miles. Ours had a tad over 97000 and still ran like a new one. Wife's 01 Chevy 2500 has over 348k and still runs great. We tend to keep our vehicles along time. Going too start test driving some Monday
