Default Power Management Center Issue

I am having an occasional starting problem with my 2004 PT. It turns over but will not start BUT if I tap the top of the power management center it will then fire up. I replaced the fuel pump relay but that does not seem to make any difference. Could there be a wiring issue on the underside of the PMC? If so how do I remove it to check and is it repairable?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
