Default Leaking fog lights, can they be resealed?

I have been doing a bunch of body work on my wife's 2001 PT. In between coats of paint I have been polishing the headlights and fog lights. The headlights came out great but the fog lights look like they are leaking and water is getting inside. Once I polished the out side of the fog lights I can see moisture on the inside. It looks like you maybe able to separate the lens from the body and reseal them, but I wanted to see if anyone has attempted this before I tear my lights apart. Thanks.

They should have come from the factory pretty well sealed. Anything should be able to come apart. We've had people take apart the headlights and tail lights so I'd imagine the fogs also could be taken apart. Look at the back end where the bulb goes into the light. Should be pretty well sealed and that may be where the moisture is coming from.

You can get new TYC brand fogs from Rockauto for about $20 each. I installed them on mine a year or so ago and they still look new. My original ones were very pitted and the chrome was mostly gone. They are easy to replace too...

If you can find the leak, a $3 tube of 3M bathroom caulk in black or clear *your choice :-D* will plug it up pretty dang well too :-D
