Default Fog light issue

So,..it's a 2009 Cruiser. Was out in the snow a bit ago and noticed the interior fog light indicator wasn't on. Checked from the outside and the fog lights themselves are indeed on. The problem is the indicaor light inside. I know the MF switch could be related to this - replaced two in previous Cruisers. But I was wondering if it could be something else, maybe something simple. Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated.

It could be as simple as the dash indicator bulb being bad.

The MFS was redesigned on the 06 and ups and you don't hear about them failing. I also agree that it might be the bulb but my understanding is they used LED's for the dash lights so I have no idea how hard they are to replace.

Baldric,

I think you should explain what you mean by "fog paper" and how that does the same thing as lighting up the road in front of you. Using Google for a search doesn't turn anything up except pictures of what fog looks like on canvas.
