Default jack point

Anybody suggest a good point to use a floor jack under the front of the PT? How about under the lower control arm attach bolt?

Under the control arms. The frame rails. The main cross member. There are the factory jack locations but I don't like jacking on a panted part of the car.

Tried notching out a 2x4 to fit the factory jack location and offer some protection to the paint and body but it split . My trolley jack doesn't have enough reach to get under the main crossmember. Finally used the lower control arm attach point...seemed to work OK.

I cut up a truck innertube and rubber cemented pieces on the jack face - seems to work.
