Default Cross country drive in 2001 model?

I am thinking about driving cross country in my 2001 with 140,000+ miles on it. What do you recommend having done to make sure it's ready for a trip like this in the summer, besides standard maintenance? Thanks for any input!

At 80,000 miles. I should have that and the water pump replaced.

Na 60k not bad. Speed the money else were. Trans. been serviced, filter and fluid? Check motor mounts and suspention parts. Cooling system, fan operation or signs of leaks.

Have it aligned and get a new set of tires. Oh..and take lots of pictures and post them here.
