Default Rear Lights Out

Excepting when I lock the car with my RKE, my rear tail lights are out. This includes the rear turn signals.

Replacing the tail light fuse in the fuse box under the hood fixed the problem about two months ago but I did not have luck doing so this time.

I have a 2001 "Limited Edition".

After replacing the fuse under the hood (defective fuse), turn signals are working. Tail lights light up when turned on but the brake lights are still not functioning.

Brake light switch might be out of adjustment.

Keeping in mind that the rear tail and brake light bulbs are double filament bulbs and half of the bulb can fail.
You likely replaced fuse #19 in the PDC.

Working back toward the battery, the brake light system consists of the grounds, the bulbs, the brake light switch, fuse #12 (15amp) in the PDC under hood, battery.
Also check dash fuses #2 (15amp), parking lights & #15 (20amp), flasher system.
