Smile New Member with Maintenance Questions

Hi. I have a 2007 PTCruiser (not the turbo). Recently had the oil changed at 31,000 miles. Dealer recommended Brake Fluid Service (cost $110), Power Steering System Flush (cost $130) and a Fuel Injection Flush (cost $90). We have stayed with the severe service maintenance schedule (at least pretty closely) but I don't see these items in the schedule. What do you all think and if needed are the prices reasonable? I used to enjoy working on old cars but now I'm a little old to enjoy trying to get up off the ground. Thanks for any info.

I just had the oil changed on my wife's new Focus at 30,000. They wanted to do a tranny flush for $100+ but the owners manual said don't touch it except for inspection till 100,000. I asked and they said, "well, that's OUR recommendation". No thanks. Stick with what you owners manual says to do to keep the warranty (if you still have one). They rest is pure gravy for the shop.

None of those things should be needed at your low miles.
I am curious what "brake fluid service" is, because if they are flushing all your brake lines and putting in new brake fluid, that shoud cost more than power steering system flush.
