Unhappy Shaking PT

I recently had the catalytic converter swapped out on my 01 pt. however, my car has been shaking when on the road. Especially at 60 mph. The steering wheel also shakes a little. Is it possible that the cat went bad already? Or is this another problem? I'm not getting any error codes so I assume the cat is still ok. it' s only been 2 weeks. This seems like it could be a number of problems.

If you paid someone to do the job, I suggest taking it back and have them take a look at what's going on.

Good luck

If it's shaking only while driving. It's in the suspension. Tie rods, ball joints, unbalanced tire, or bent rim .

Are you saying the car didn't shake until the CAT was replaced? Replacement of the converter should have nothing at all to do with the shaking unless whoever replaced it really messed up badly plus shaking of the steering wheel usually means somethings wrong with the front suspension or wheels weather they be bent or the tires are unbalanced. Shaking of your seat, the floor or even the pedals would indicate a problem at the rear of the car.
