Default Seats for PT Cruiser

I have a 04 pt base pt and the seat aren't the most comfortable or supportive. What seats would be better and have the best fit and most economical to switch out the front two seats? I know srt-4 seats are an option.....any other ideas? I like the seats I had in my daytona shelby z but I assume they wouldn't be an easy fit?

Althought towels would probably help...I am thinking of going a different route
I have a 2004 base pt...are the higher end pt cruiser seats more comfortable/supportive, or are they all pretty much the same? I have seen some "racing" seats on ebay for around $200 shipped but I don't think they would mount up very easy or be the best quality. Any other sugestions?

They are all hard as a rock, the 01-05 have one shape and the 06-10 have a different shape, but they dont have a lot of padding.

Would neon seats fit and be any better? Wonder if caliber seats would fit?

Me personally, I like how you recovered your seats. I'm considering doing the same, as all the covers I've found that I liked, not one of them was for seats with side airbags. That means it would make more sense for me go recover them myself. Add to it, the headrests suck, I literally have to lean my head back to touch them and I would really like to do something different to them.

My one big concern is the control panel on the left lower side of the driver's seat. It's busted off, and I've tried several methods to refasten it and none stayed in working order. Guess my butt is just too big...lol
