Default 2003 GT Chrome Wheel stolen...

I bought a replacement on ebay and it doesn't hold air. Does anyone have one or know someone who has one for sale in MD/DC area?

I already posted in classified wants, but I'm hoping someone who isn't thinking of selling anything might be reading here...

Thanks.

Not sure how bad your wheel is, but I had the same problem about two months ago with one not holding air for more than three days. I took the drill with a wire wheel to it and removed all the chrome flaking out, sanded, cleaned it, etc.

I then primed it, let that dry for a couple of days and spayed a couple of thin coats of Rust-Oleum LeakSeal (I used clear) around the lip area of the wheel, and put a new stem.

It is now a spare tire/wheel tho, but is holding air great, has not lost a lb. since.

RustOleum.com

Hope this helps..
