Default Engine revving at stop

Yesterday while traveling at around 30 mph I came to a red light. I stopped, but the engine seemed to be reving and if I stepped off the break it lerched. Once the traffic started moving, it seemed my car was maintaining on its own as I wasn't pressing on gas. RPMs running between 1-2. 1.5 while traveling, but sometimes going up to 2 when I slow down

At the next light, no issue. It really seems to come and go.

Any ideas? I just had the timing belt replaced. Could something be going on there?

I have a 2005 PT Cruiser Turbo Convert. 97600 miles

Could be a dirty or malfunctioning Idle Air Controller (IAC).

It's more likely IAC as CREWZIN said. Remove and clean.
