Default What age and mileage on timing belt?

My mom has a pt and her timing belt has never been changed. I see that age as well as mileage is important. What are they? I believe it's a 2007 with 60,000 miles.

Here's one of the posts we just had that discussed that same subject.

Daven; If the car has had normal use, I believe it should make 100,000 miles. The 2001 and 2002 years had early failures, probably due to a different tensioner. That being said, if you want to sleep better, then pull the top of the timing cover off [2 screws], jack up [with stand] and remove right front tire, remove inner fender shield, 1/2 " ratchet with long extensions resting on a separate jackstand, turning the engine slowly with your knee while inspecting the belt with a strong flashlight. Inspect the inside and outside with care. It should look like new. No cracks, tension ok, no oil, no antifreeze, etc. --- Belts can break for many reasons [water pump locking, tensioner/idler bearing dragging [causing heat] , etc.

And luck!
