Default Dash lights

Hi all
Hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
I have a problem again today set off to fill the car up.
As I am going to pick the daughter up from uni tomorrow.
On the dash cluster the TRAC OFF on the left pod and ABS on the right pod.
Are both lit all the time and I have made some short trips.
I have turned it on and off about five times today.
Has any one got any ideas as to what it may be.
And is it safe to to do a two hundred mile round trip.

I ok to drive. you will not have abs but you wont feel any difference unless you panic stop. The wheels will lock up and slide just like the cars of old. The track control can operate unless the abs is working. This is why both lights are on. You most likely have a bad wheel sensor. Not sure why this is not showing up on the key dance. But your brakes won't fail or not operate . So you are ok to drive it till you get a chance to figure it out.

It might be worth a shot to check the connectors to those sensors, unplug then reconnect. I had a similar issue with a Dodge Grand Caravan where the ABS light was on. I unplugged the sensors then plugged them back in - problem was gone and ABS functioned normally. Maybe it was dirt in a connection?
