Default seat adjustment issue

I've got a 2010 Cruiser and the electronic seat adjustment switch is non-responsive at times; AND, after I return to the vehicle, I sometimes find that the seat has adjusted to a higher level than is comfortable to drive at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Am I the only one who's had this problem?

YES. Sorry, but haven't heard of it before on this forum. You want to get under the seat and check the wiring. Apparently it's intermittent and when the bad contact makes good contact, it reacts to the last push of the button you did.

Just a theory.

No, you're not the only one. I have an electronic controlled adjustment switch on the left side of my driver's seat. I would find myself always having to adjust the seat farther back from the steering wheel, when I had never moved my seat up.

Unfortunately , this seems to be one of the MANY issues people are having with their PT's. For example: Sorry, constant engine light and limp mode issues; tires always needing air; loud fan or fan constantly running after the car is off; idling hard and surging when pulling off.

Some people have actually had their car just shut down while moving! They are lovable cars, but they are garbage! They should have recalled these cars for the type of problems most owners have dealt with since purchasing them.

I love my PT. However, had I read about the similar issues that so many people were having with them; I never would have bought one! They were poorly and cheaply made with faulty parts.

Just give it time and you'll see! Your seat issue is only the beginning! Good luck though!
