Default i missed my car.

love the cargo space. that is six patio chairs inside and a table on top. this was with the rear seats and a subwoofer box still in the car. i didnt plan to buy this.

--
birthday present for my mother. she's picky about patio stuff. we had an eddie bauer home store teak patio set but it's shot. i think we oiled the teak once and would leave it out all winter. anyways, once assembled, it might look like this:

the guys at sears said the big box wouldn't fit. it actually fit perfect, like a glove. for size comparison, this is the box out of the car with my girlfriend in it:

i learned the guys at sears will load it, but they hand you a box of twine to tie it on. i asked if it was speed rated for 80 and they looked at me like i was nuts and went inside, leaving my girlfriend and I standing there giggling with a bix box of twine.

oh, i left the hubcaps off so i could recheck the lugnuts. well, they were tight! i snapped one off when i checked them. anyone know offhand if i can pound the busted stud out and jam a new one in without pressing the hub apart?

reason i didnt torque properly is because after 250,000 miles, they dont spin on effortlessly by hand anymore. some do, some don't. any torque reading would have been waaay off. i used to like the torque sticks for lugs, just don't trust it anymore

I went over to mine without a wheel. I don't think you can. Looks like its blocked by the knuckle. Hope I'm wrong.

yep there is a small cut away on the hub to drive the studf through
remember dont just use a hammer and pound on it use a good sharp center punch
you do not want to flair the stud out or it wont go through the hole
to put the new one on i start it snug it up till the splines start then hit it with a impact to pull it through
CREWZIN and rob342 like this.
