Default 2.2 CRD oil

So just got my PT and it's time to do a change, could you give me an idea of what I need to get oil and filter wise. I'm in the UK so appropriate links much appreciated.

Is this any good?

Dont have any info on the 2.2 CRD Diesel, what does the owners manual say?

It should recommend the viscosity and spec? I would run a good synthetic you can get over there which meets the spec and correct viscosity. per the filter not sure what you have available.

My local motor dealer recommended fully synthetic 5w40 - be aware that it takes 7 litres so make sure you get enough

Filter he offered is a Mahle OX 153 D4

No links as he's a local shop

uita; Diesels have different requirements than gas engines for their motor oils. Diesel cars may have their own owners manual. European oils have a different classification system than in the US. The viscosity numbers [like 5W30] should be on the oil filler cap and the specifications for the proper oil for your car should have an ACEA spec. Which spec.? will require more investigating.

BP oil company has so much oil that they are storing their excess supply on our beaches!! Maybe they will cut you a deal.

Yeah just go down to the beach and scrape it off some birds eh!!!! Thanks for the reply. Am I right in thinking that the 2.2 CRD isn't that popular in the US?
