Default which model i have!!

hi, its my first car and i bought a pt cruiser 2006 limited 2.4 turbo,

doing some search i found all this models :

1.6 L EJD I4 (gasoline)
2.0 L ECC I4 (gasoline)
2.4 L EDZ I4 (gasoline)
2.4 L EDV/EDT I4 (t/c gasoline)
2.2 L EDJ I4 (t/c diesel)

and i believe i have the "2.4 L EDV/EDT I4 (t/c gasoline)"
am really new to this, so what kind of engine is this?? how good/bad is this model,
does it need more or specific maintenance??

any other information to know will be very helpful,

You obviously have a 2.4L, so then the question is... Manual or Automatic? Go from there to figure which of the two.

you would ASSume the t/c = turbo charged, no? where are you looking that you get these as engine options?

2.4 L EDV/EDT I4 (t/c gasoline)

googling only "EDV/EDT" comes up with this, so i'd say for sure you have this one.

Post your VIN and production date then we can help you without questions.
The VIN is on the driver side dash close to the windshield and the production date and VIN is in the drivers door area.
BTW........

Gram; It is a turbo lite [180 hp] , burns regular gas, probably drives like a V-6 [torque motor]. Turbo lite owners can chime in.

Hi,
it sounds like you have the 'lite' turbo engine (detuned to 180 hp). Unless your car says "GT" on the back or "2.4L Turbo High Output". Which I am pretty sure it does not.
I would suggest changing the oil every 3,000 or 4,000 miles, use only Mobil 1 synthetic with a Mobil 1 filter.
Chrysler uses a very soft rubber in the control arm bushings and engine mounts; my guesstimate on an MTBF is 50,000 miles. Same for the plastic radiator that everyone from Ford to BMW uses these days.

The radiators will last for quite some time. Seen one that has 74k on it still going. Three others with up to 140k. The bushings ,well that's another story.
