Exclamation After timing belt replacment idles rough

I had the timing belt replaced and after I got the car out of the shop it idles so rough I thought it was just the 10 % ethanol gas so I treated the gas and it runs a little better but still the same problem ... any ideas

It's out of time: that is, the timing belt was not installed correctly. The marks were not properly lined up. Most likely one of the cam sprockets is off a tooth. It happens a lot, even to professional mechanics. It has to come apart again. Sorry.

Yes that's the only way to fix it.

Cams line up through the center line of the cam bolts.

Especially if it's a mechanic who isn't familiar with PT Cruisers, and even if it's only the 1st,2nd,or 3rd time ever working on one.......I would take it back to the shop that 'fixed' it,and tell them what he did wrong.(and even refer them to this page!lol)
