Default what these error codes really mean?

hi

I am sorrry but I am not sure what the error codes I get with the on off on off on key really mean:

P1653 Oil Level Lamp Control Circuit
P2100 Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Motor Control Circuit

Any help please?

What exactly is your PT Cruiser doing?....Symptoms?.....And have your tried to do a code reset?

Been searching for awhile for the reason you got those codes. As far as I can tell, nobody on this forum ever had them. The closest I could find for both of them is something to do with the IAC (Idle Air Controller) for the P2100 and the Oil Pressure Sending Switch for the P1653 although in the U.S. we would see the P0522 vs P1653 and P0505 vs P2100.

Thanks for your help.

I dont know how to reset the errors. I dont
have an special code reader to resset them, I
used the key and the on off trick to read them.

I feel really nothing special but only like the motor
wants to almost stop when the AC is on and the car
is stopped and in neutral position.

It is a 1.6 only

To reset the codes on the U.S. cars, take off the negative battery cable for about 5 minutes. Step on the brake pedal while the cable is off to get rid of any residual charge and then put the cable back on. The car might run a little rough for a minute or two while the computer re-learns your settings. This re-sets your fault codes and the computer.
