Default Need PCM, where to purchase? besides dealer

I have a 2007 Limited, turbo. Been having problems with it dropping into LIMP mode at what seems like random moments. I played "Lets throw parts at it" for the last couple months. It gives me P0700 and p0882 codes... Low power to solenoid.
ANYWAYS, I haven't the time or money any longer to diddle with it. I took it to dealer (Yes, I know what I just said....no money, took to dealer) figured they could at least analyse the problem and narrow it down (local mechanic didn't want to deal with it)

Said its either the PCM or the TIPM. Wanted to replace the PCM first, run it and re-check. PCM replace=$1080. TIPM $870.

I can replace the PCM myself. Maybe the TIPM myself also.

Any recommendations on where to buy a PCM other than the dealer?

Read JThomp's thread regarding HIS adventure.......high engine temps to blame?

Don't know about the high temps unless your overheating.

I got mine from a company on eBay. Free shipping both ways. Mine cost $169. cured my problems. But I had eliminated the other possibility's.

Thanks guys.
Not overheating. But I know it does get pretty warm in there....expansion/contraction of metals create loose connection and shorting possibly.....I'm throwing out ideas. Don't really know.

Seems to me having the computer in its current location is not ideal because of the temps created by engine.

Hood scoops or ...?
