Default Motor Mounts

I am going to order the two motor mounts and I looked at several sites there is an anchor 2948 & 2849 which I think are the correct ones but then I saw where they have A2848 & A2849 can someone tell me the difference or is there any. It is a little confusing. Thanks in advance

One is for cars with automatic transmissions, the other is for manuals. I forget which is which, but somebody should chime in shortly. . .

From what I can see on more than one listing, the A2848/2849 is for the MANUAL trans.

When I did those I ordered the parts that were correct for my non-turbo 06 BASE Model with Manual Tranny from Rock-Auto. I recall the ordering was not too well defined between which parts to get. I did not take them off to make measurements before I ordered. After ordering I also ordered the Prothane Motor Mount Inserts from Modern Performance as a backup if needed.

The parts I ordered from Rock based on what looked to be right for my model where the QMM 3169 lower torque arm and the QMM 2948 upper. The upper looks correct and if I recall is the only one available for all PT Cruisers. The lower was not the correct one for my car. The bolt hole on the big end that attaches to the engine was too large for the bolt and threaded hole in the block. I am sure some backyard mechanics and pro's alike might have used this part anyway, but I know how much of a beating it would have taken with my driving, so I used plan B and just installed the Prothane inserts into the places on both mounts since they were both worn out but the rubber wasn't broken. I am glad i did, car launched so much better with those inserts.

Sooner or later I will be listing all the parts I have left over, most unused, since selling my cruiser. I have the two parts above new in the boxes, a few greasy fingerprints on the boxes are the only damage.
