bushing question

Default bushing question

I bought the energy suspension kit for my pt and have what the call the rear trailing arm bushings. What are they and where do they go?

At any rate make sure you lube them as required or you will be haunted by squeaks.

the SRT guys call those the rear tensioners.

BTW those bushing in most climates seldom ever need replacing. The exception may be if you are in an area that uses salt on the roads during winter months.

Never seen them bad here. We defiantly have salt.

Chicago boy Joe,.... ask him about bushings and mounts!? Otherwise I may would have said the same as you?

There are some area's that many never look at for replacing parts and those control bushings are one . After Joe's trouble with chassis and suspension rubber components I now make sure I inspect that area of PTs.
