Default Car Shows, will never figure them out!

Ok, after bumbing out at the open car show two weeks ago I was glutten for more punishment so I entered the Roanoke Valley Mopar Club annual car show this past Saturday. Ended up winning the Best Chrysler/DeSoto award at the show.
I'll never figure out how you can win best of class at a Mopar show and they don't know you exist at another.

Kind of obvious. Mopar enthusiasts appreciate a nice Mopar.

Non Mopar enthusiasts, make fun of us. And it is usually because of jealousy.

They can't seem to figure out how people get so obsessed over their Mopars.

That's what makes us so special

Also wanted to comment on what a great thing it is, you winning.

I'm sure they're were a couple of trailer queens there, and to beat out those dudes, is something special

Not easy for a daily driver to beat out a car that does not even manage to get a dead bug on the windshield.

Judges at car shows........

They are why in 1978 I stopped showing my cars!!!
IMO To political and biased!

Cruiszr I have looked at a lot of pictures of your PT and can honestly say that you do the little things, those un-noticed by most things, attention to small details. I would have given you high marks on those things alone. You would have gotten a on that alone in my book!

What way really crazy was at the last open show I went to the top award for new model cars 1986 and up went to a Chrysler Crossfire that was stock and really needing a good detail job expecially under the hood. At the Mopar show the same car placed in the top 50. Done my heart good when I won the Chrysler award.

To me it's not about you having a limited production or high dollar car but more about what you do with what you have.

Got to admit, felt a lot better being at the Mopar show rubbing elbows with people that are Mopar enthusasts .

Car shows are for your enjoyment, and getting ideas.
Getting recognition is merely icing on the cake!

You do know that Our car is Only living on throught the Name Chrysler .It Started out as a Plymouth , when Desoto was shut down in 1961 that was the Car to beat " the Firedome Hemi " was different than all other Hemi's no parts were enterchangable with Dodge,Plymouth,or Chrysler . Lets not forget the Chrysler Imperial <---- That was the top of the Line
