Default 2006 Transmission problem

My 2006 is a nightmare first the computer needed to be changed because of the alternator went bad. So now the automatic Transmission bucks out of 2 gear and then stays in 3 gear. I stop and turn off the car then it drives fine. My question is will the computer if not calibrated correctly be the problem? I have fluid and not burnt. Love the car but man I hate the cost to fix this nightmare.

No idea. I hate automatics of any type for precisely this reason.

Mercedes seven speed is a Peach, too.
You might guess the price of (attempts at) repairs are slightly higher

Any codes? Otherwise I have no idea what could be going on. Maybe this bump will help.

There are links to the 'FSM' that still may be good.
The Factory Service Manual has a comprehensive troubleshooting section.

Chrysler would release books one repairs to their transmissions, sorta a gathering of TSB's
