Question Re: Big surprise!

9. Chrysler PT Cruiser
A similar approach to the Chevy HHR, the Chrysler (FIATY.PK) PT Cruiser set the benchmark for the return to retro.
It seems that the HHR was able to pull it off more effectively though, as the survey’s participants awarded the PT Cruiser a score of 1.
.......Didn't the HHR sell less units per year & last even less production years than the PT Cruiser???.....

This is a big surprise? The Pt was a love it or hate it kind of car, and it lost popularity among the masses amid the financial woes of Chrysler, isn't that to be expected now? My only surprise on this article are 1) the Aztek should be higher on the list and 2) the Town Car shouldn't be on it at all, that's a highly successful flagship model for Lincoln in the 2000s and remained the top selling luxury car even after it went into a sales decline (most likely due to the economy and not people's opinions of the car)

"a similar aproach to the hhr"

if i'm not mistaken, the pt cruiser was designed and produced first. the designer of the pt cruiser designed the hhr AFTER production of the pt cruiser. and, yes, there were less production years of the hhr.

if i'm mistaken, someone chime in.

Price was a factor. I love all three. SSR is cool. But so expensive. The folks that do these types of ratings can't get past the manufacturer emblem. They wouldn't be seen without their Lexus or Mercedes. So I don't give a rats butt about these silly ratings. And why some keep dragging these out of the woodwork. Always stirring the pot.

Wall Street? Talking about what's embarrasing?
How about leading the country (world) into a drawn out recession?
Now they're car conisuers.
