Default What Are The Odds? Vert/Black/Woodie/GT/5spd.

Hello All,
I would love to surprise my lovely wife with a 06' and up Convertible Black Woodie GT 5spd. Pretty specific huh? That's my Angel for you! Anyone have a line on one? Or, a clue where to look. Or, even how to go about hunting that down? That's her "Dream" Cruiser. I'd pay a "thanks for your time" finder's fee to anyone who finds the car I purchase. Thanks to all in advance.

That's getting pretty specific there!......I'm not sure they even made one to that specs, and if they did...Not many;Your best bet might be to try and find a black 'vert',then purchase the 'woody' decals, and have them professionally installed.

I found this one on AutoTrader: Only=true&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&trans missionCode=MAN&transmissionCodes=MAN&maxPrice=200 00&mmt=[CHRY[PTCRUIS[]][]]&modelCode1=PTCRUIS&showcaseOwnerId=72868&makeCode 1=CHRY&startYear=2006&extColorsSimple=BLACK&search Radius=0&bodyStyleCodes=CONVERT&minPrice=1&listing Id=349411608&listingIndex=1&Log=0
You'd have to add the wood, as Randy said, but that shouldn't be hard or expensive. Ebay Motors has only 2 black 2nd gen convertibles, and they're both automatics.

Maybe you could find one in the "wrong" color and have it painted, or decide to love the color it is.

Oh, I missed that it had to be a GT. Never mind. . .

If at all possible I would stay away from the 06 and 07. 06 due to TIPM issues and 07 due to the walking crankshaft issue.

Ray; Mine is an 06 and NO tipm issues. And no electrical modifications either. All electrical additions or mods must be done with full understanding of how the system works. Not easy!!! I read somewhere that all cars 2008 and later have canbus mandated?

Glad you brought up the walking crankshaft issue. I almost forgot my old high school nickname.

My '06 doesn't have any issues like that...
