Question Brake light problem

I have a 2004 Pt and my right brake light isnt working. Everything else works (left brake light, turn signals, running lights). Tried 2 new bulbs and nothing so im assuming the socket or a ground. Any ideas?

Start with putting a volt meter to the socket and see if your getting power when you step on the brake pedal. Then go from there.

my car did the same thing. stick something on the brake pedal and wiggle the bulb in the socket.

i ended up adjusting the brass contact with a dental pick to fix mine. be gentle though, they snap off very easy
